Anna Karenina - Analysis

Hello, there!

Many of you are here because of my Instagram and already know what is going to happen in the next eight months. But for those that just stumbled upon this page in the jungel of the so called internet, let me explain what project I have planned for my blog.

I read Anna Karenina and fell in love with it, but at the end I had the feeling, although I was utterly in love, that I had been missing bits and pieces that would allow me to fully comprehend the story. That‘s why I have decided to pick this astonishing novel up again and this time read it more carefully. 

My first post in this series will be up tomorrow about the historical background of the book, the story and the author. One can‘t fully comprehend a novel without knowing the society which it had been created in. In my humble opinion of course. 

As I am not literature student at all, I would love to see all your thoughts and ideas about it. Don‘t hesitate, to call me out if you think that I am wrong on something. Great discussions arise from different opinions after all.

Last but not least, here I will elaborate  quite indulgently on here. If you want more of a summary of my analytical thoughts then head to my instagram, where I hope to have a discussion just as well. 

With all that being said, I am looking forward to starting this long-term project and I hope once I get to the end of Anna Karenina that this time around I will be able to have more pieces to the puzzle of understanding this master piece.
